Being overly aware of other cultures isn't the biggest American pastime, so what a lotta people got was what came off their TV. Best part about both Jackie and Bruce is that their skills weren't TV bullshit. They were legit and frankly, it was impressive for us to see folk move like that. Anyway, it overlays as an assumption on Eastern Cultures when it comes to fighting.
I promise, I mean no offense by it. Most everyone acknowledges their skill and capability.
