Raylan didn't think Tim was drunk enough to not walk successfully, but he stayed prepared to have to catch the smaller man in the case of a misstep. He was deeply curious to see how Tim lived, to see the inside of his apartment - almost like it was fair game because of how much of how he lived Tim had seen in return.
He wasn't particularly surprised by the sparten-esk living space, hat coming off to find a home on the first flat safe surface he finds, and he catches Tim's eye with a faint lift of his head.
