Until the sun came up?

“I’ll stay with you as long as you want,” he promised readily in the wake of the pure affection in the touch and the kisses and the way Raylan stayed in his space. Whenever he wanted, really, if he could bask, breathless, in his warmth like this. He didn’t want to move, but he didn’t want to leave Raylan sticky long enough that it got cold and uncomfortable. He nuzzled against his cheekbone and gave him a gentle, lingering kiss. “I’ll be right back,” he promised, sliding out of his grip just long enough to wet a towel from his drawer with tepid water from the drinking glass on the bedside table, then he returned, carefully cleaning up Raylan and then himself before tossing the towel on the ground with their discarded clothes.

He crawled back along Raylan’s body, nestling in against him when he noticed the red spot on his collarbone and then the bruise on his neck. He set light kisses on each. “You got bruised up. Are you okay? What happened?” he asked with idle curiosity, settling in and letting his fidgety fingers drift along the bruise. There were a lot of ways to accrue minor injuries in this place. He frowned faintly, tilting his head slightly. He was well versed in the pathology of human bite marks. The shape was distinctive. “....Did someone bite you?” Because that was a weird thing for some random person to do.
